About My Approach

Don’t keep reviewing your past over and over.

If you did not enjoy your past painful life experiences, you do not want to revisit that stage of your life repeatedly as you might have done in talk therapy.

When we meet, I ask you enough questions to find the most appropriate technique to help you continue your life happier and look forward to every day as a new beginning and adventure.

I come in person if you live in Los Angeles.

I do house calls in the Los Angeles area so you can stay in the comfort of your own home. If we do hypnosis and you like to relax afterward, you do not need to drive in traffic.

Also, in some protocols of Psychoneurology, you will feel anchored with the smells and sights of your home, so there will be more reinforcement any time you pass by that environment.

What makes our time together more valuable?

Your commitment to your happiness, thriving in life, and willingness to follow my lead as your mentor make our time together productive.

I might ask you to journal or read a book, write a list, meditate, or breathe in a certain way so our time together will be even more productive. Trust me to be your guide and do what needs doing.

Why is Psychoneurology successful in creating permanent change?

To create a lasting change in someone, we need to make those changes on the unconscious level. Feelings are our actual state, and our unconscious language is emotion. A feeling or emotion is unconscious, and how a person feels is the most important indication that our protocols have worked.

We give a new learning or resource to your unconscious mind, and by changing the neural pathways/the way you feel about an incident, that permanent change gets created. If you come in with a trauma, feeling of anxiety, or phobia, that feeling will be long gone, and the new resources of calm and thriving in a happy state will replace them.

About Dr. Noushin

How my journey began.

I was born and raised in Tehran, Iran, where I graduated high school at age 16 and continued my education at the University of Davis in California. Due to the Iranian revolution and my family’s migration to Los Angeles, I finished my undergraduate degree at the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA) in 1981 with a Bachelor’s in Fine Arts.

In 1985, I met my husband, got married, and moved back to Northern California, where we had our first son and daughter while helping my husband operate his businesses. In 1993, we moved back to Los Angeles, CA, where we resided and were blessed with a second son.

In 2005, I had the privilege of meeting the founder of Beurin University and started working on my dual Ph.D. in Psychoneurology and Integrative Health and Thriving. Since 2007, I have been teaching and seeing clients.

Throughout the past few years, I have written two books, Making A Commitment For Love and Psychoneurology Of Relationships & Related Case Studies. Couples who have read and live by these recommendations have been experiencing positive results beyond their fondest expectations.

Here are some of my specializations.

I treat anxiety, phobias, traumas, and PTSD and have successfully supported children and parents to manage symptoms without continued use of stimulants for ADD/ADHD.

Relationship therapy, reclaiming lost love, and anger management are some other topics I address.

I teach Ophanim in Farsi/English and offer sessions on How to Create a More Prosperous Life.

Other topics I address include Goal Setting, How to Create a More Loving Relationship with your Spouse/Significant other, How to Create a More Loving Relationship with your Teenagers, and Healing Beyond Medicine Series.

Also, I use Chakras to help with emotional and physical well-being. Other modalities for managing emotions include the Emotional Freedom Technique/EFT and Mind Stoppage Technique/an intro to meditation.

My Favorite Hobby

I love photography and creating beautiful albums of different events, especially with my family and friends. So, when I am not working with my clients, taking pictures and creating memories is what I enjoy the most.
