FAQ

Where is your office located?

I prefer to do house calls for a few reasons. First, it takes the anxiety out of going out to an unfamiliar office for my clients.

Secondly, it gives me more information about how my client lives and how else I might be able to support them in a more thriving life.

Thirdly, if we need to do hypnosis or trance work, the client can rest afterward if required and does not need to drive in the traffic to get home. Also, I can anchor them to the smells of their surroundings to reinforce the protocols.

Do you work with long-distance clients?

Yes. We will do Zoom sessions where I can also record our session and send it to you so you can review the protocols and techniques we use in our sessions if you need to. My only request is to be able to see you at all times while we are in the session since I need to see your autonomic responses.

How long are your sessions?

I usually see you for as much time as we need to finish what we started. So it might go anywhere between an hour to 90 minutes at times or rarely less.

Do you take insurance?

No. I do not accept insurance, diagnose, use the DSM, or label my clients. I accept cash, PayPal, or Venmo.

How do I set up an initial appointment?

You can leave me a message with your full name and phone number, and I will get back to you at my earliest convenience, or you can send me a message through my website.

What is your cancellation policy?

I need at least 24 hours in advance notice so we can reschedule. If it’s less than that, you will be responsible for the full payment unless it’s a true emergency, and your next session will be ½ the time of our regular sessions.

Do you provide ``Good Faith Estimates?``

Under Section 2799B-6 of the Public Health Service Act, healthcare providers and healthcare facilities must, by law, provide individuals with a “Good Faith Estimate” if they will receive charges when scheduling healthcare items and services. This requirement goes for individuals not enrolled in an insurance plan or a Federal Health Care program and those seeking to file a claim via a superbill or an in-network provider.

A “Good Faith Estimate” explains how much your medical and mental health care will cost over your treatment period. Under this law, healthcare providers must give patients who don’t have insurance or choose not to use their insurance an estimate of the expected charges for medical services, including psychotherapy services.

For questions or more information about your right to a “Good Faith Estimate,” visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises.

What age ranges do you work?

I prefer to work with people ages at least 10 to late 80s if they are fully aware and on their own.

Do you work with women? Men? Couples? Children?

Yes. I work with women, men, and children, especially adolescents. If you need any support and desire to be helped and learn how to live a happier and thriving life, I will do anything in my power and expertise to get you there.

What do you do in sessions with clients?

In our sessions, I ask you enough questions to understand where you are and what resources and new learnings you need to add to your subconscious mind. These questions will help me choose the right technique and protocol of Psychoneurology to get you there.

Our sessions are full of learning; if you ever cry, those tears will be tears of joy, not sadness. I won’t take you to your past and ask you to review it repeatedly. We look at your past experiences as an observer. But you do not stay in the past and suffer if that was the feeling you were experiencing when you were younger.

Can I only see you for one session or pay every time I see you?

Based on my experience, I will offer you a package of 3, 5, or 10 sessions. When you pay in full in advance, I can give you a break on the payment. That way, you will have saved space, demonstrating a commitment to do the work necessary to achieve your goals. Since I use techniques and not talk therapy and we work with the subconscious mind, the changes will be permanent, providing resolution of your issues, challenges, fears, phobias, traumas, or relationship problems in a few sessions.

Do your clients receive assignments to work on between sessions?

Yes. I might ask you to journal, read a book, write lists, etc. So when we are in session, we will work together and reach our destination faster. When we work together, I will be your mentor, teacher, Psychoneurologist, and later friend.

I will teach you some techniques which you need to practice to learn them perfectly, so it will be second nature when you need to use them. I will teach you how to fish rather than just put the fish on your plate.

What is your professional training and experience?

I am a Psychoneurologist, teacher, and author. I have taught different workshops throughout the past 18 years and also have been teaching life skills classes to high school students for the past five years and on Zoom voluntarily under The Bianca Foundation.

I also have a TV show on one of the Persian TV studios/programs where I discuss the essential subjects of society’s challenges. Different guests help provide our community with more help and information on creating a better and happier life.

How many sessions do you usually see a couple with relationship issues?

I need to see the couples for at least 9-18 sessions where they will be together every other week. I will see them individually every other week, so they can express their concerns freely. When I see them together, at times, I might need to act as a mediator and make sure they are communicating well and understanding each other correctly.

How many sessions do you see a family with their child/children?

I prefer not to see children alone because they will learn new resources. If the parents keep doing what they were doing previously and not working on themselves, they will be unable to create a better environment for their children.

So, I will need to work with the family as a unit. The process will involve seeing the parents and child together in one session so I can see the family dynamic. Then, I will see the child alone, both parents together, each parent separately, and the family together again. This process helps the parents understand how to relate to each other and their children. It will be at least 12-18 sessions for the whole family.

What makes you different from other therapists?

Psychoneurologists need to make those changes on the unconscious level to create a difference in someone. My goal is to operate in how a person will feel because that’s the accurate and honest calibrator that shows my client their problem is gone for good.

Most mental health practitioners look at their client/patient and ask: “Why are you suffering/hurting/unhappy? What caused or is causing this problem? When was the first time you had this problem? How does this make you feel?”

This approach is the “Problem Model,” which strengthens the issues and guides the patient toward looking more into what does not work or has not been working in their life. While this makes sense from the perspective of the conscious, thinking mind, it essentially bypasses what the unconscious mind is doing. These are all mind-centered questions that ignore how the person feels.

Why should I choose you?

You will no longer face those challenges after a few sessions versus going to a therapist that only offers talk therapy, and you need to keep seeing them for year after year without creating a significant change in your life. You save time and money, and you also become a happier and more productive person in a short amount of time.

Are you animal friendly?

Yes. I love dogs and cats, and I am a dog owner and love him very much. While working with you, I often put your pet to sleep if you have any, especially if they are nearby and we will be doing hypnosis.
